You can not step in the same river twice. Recognize that every experience is impermanent. With this insight, you'll not be overwhelmed by ups and downs. Whatever comes, let it come.
Whatever stays, let it stay.
What goes, let it go.
Change is never painful, only resistance to change is painful.
There is nothing in this world that is yours.
There is nothing to gain or lose in this world.
Dreams come and pass ,
Thoughts come and pass ,
Feelings come and pass ,
Everything comes and pass.
Be Quiet , Be Quiet.
How unwise and foolish it is to develop attachment to that which is constantly changing. Regard this fleeting world like this:
Like stars fading and vanishing at dawn,
like bubbles on a fast-moving stream,
like morning dewdrops evaporating on blades of grass,
like a candle flickering in a strong wind,
echoes, mirages, and phantoms, hallucinations, and like a dream.
See everything as a dream, as a show, as a film.
Life is but a dream! Wake up!
This world that you dream holds nothing to fear. Freedom from attachment comes when one knows one's true being. Self-knowledge is detachment. All craving is due to a sense of insufficiency. When you know that you lack nothing, desire ceases. Pain and pleasure are in the mind. Pleasure and pain are mere disturbances of the senses; treat them equally and there will be only bliss. Only contentment can make you happy.
Desires fulfilled breed more desires. Satisfaction of desires breed misery. Freedom from desires is bliss. So long as one is involved in the game of pain-and-pleasure, push-and-pull, the mind remains agitated, and one’s misery increases. But once one learns to observe objectively then the old habit of blind reaction and of multiplying one’s misery is gradually weakened and broken. One must learn how to just observe. The habit pattern of reaction is based on ignorance.
When we fully realize everything is constantly changing, we cling to nothing and we learn how to embrace each moment as it arises and passes away. Things happen the way they have to...
React to no one, react to nothing. Do not even react to your own thoughts. Let the waves of the universe rise and fall as they will, you have nothing to lose.
Learn to become the witness. Learn to be quiet ~~~Everything happens for a reason. ~~~
Break the habit pattern of reaction +-+-+- little by little. Learn to be quiet/ unaffected. It is within your hands to be frustrated in life or not. Just your expectations should become smaller>smaller>smaller,and in the same proportion the frustration will become smaller. A day will come when there will be no expectation; then you will never come across any frustration.
